The event director shares screens for a brief visual presentation on the rules and objectives of the game and provides teams with their QR download codes to enter the game.
00:05-00:15 Scene of the Crime
Each team member has access to their own set of clues including space dossiers, crime investigation video footage and cryptic puzzles. Sharing what you see is the key. The team analyses security footage and link up clues to lead them to determine where the victim was killed.
00:15-00:25 When? How?
Successful teams move to the next level. Clear communication of all visual clues between the team and deductive skills from the videos establish the murder weapon and the date of the murder.
00:25-00:45 Who was the victim?
Moving forward in the case, the team tracks a knife which signposts their way to room 1127, the engine room. By combing their respective skills, teams decipher the morse code to uncover the identity of the victim.
00:45-01:15 Motive & Killer Uncovered
Teams work to solve a problem linking the connections between a group of space agencies to reveal the motive. Searching for a secret file in a storage unit and work quickly to decipher the information to finally name the killer.
01:15-01.30 Results, Prize Giving & Debrief
Winners are announced. On request, the event facilitator leads the group through a debrief reflecting on effective communication, team dynamics and problem-solving drawing on lessons learned from the activity in relation to work application.
